As we wrap up 2025 here in Billings, I’ve been reflecting on the year—because WOW, it was a big one for our market. It wasn’t the wild rollercoaster of 2021–2022, but it was definitely a year of CHANGE, BALANCE, and SMART DECISIONS.
Interest rates DEFINITELY shaped the year.
We started 2025 with higher rates, which caused some buyers to pump the brakes. But when rates eased heading into late summer and fall? Showings picked up, and we saw buyers who had been waiting finally jump in.
Just a 1% shift made a BIG difference in affordability and confidence.
